Starting Wednesday June 1st we are going to start our fundraising for the DHP. For the entire month of June I would like for evereyone to bring in $1.00 each day and drop it in the box. If you would like to pay for the entire month feel free. Make the checks payable to the Disposable Hero Project NOT CF NWA. This is not mandatory but I would love to have 100% participation.

 CrossFit NWA in action at the North Central Regionals in Chicago, IL

Congrats and safe travels to all CrossFit NWA competitors and supporters as they make their way back home on Monday from proving they are among the CrossFit Elite at the North Central Regional Competition in Chicago!  Give them all a big welcome back as you see them in the gym this week.

Congrats to our CrossFit NWA team for placing 9th place out of 27 teams from 11 states and advancing to tomorrow’s final round of North Central regional competition in Chicago. 

This is an amazing accomplishment as CrossFit HQ has labled the North Central region as possibly the most competitive in the world.  Solid Work!  Good luck during Sunday’s final round and Leave Nothing!! 

Also, a big shout out to Leah for competing in the individual women’s competition and representing CrossFit NWA as an unbelievable athlete and competitor.

Canadian Forces Private Colin Wilmot, 24, of Fredericton, New Brunswick, assigned to the Second Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (2 PPCLI) Battle Group, based out of Edmonton, Alberta, died on July 6, 2008 from wounds suffered when an explosive device detonated near him in the Panjwali District of Afghanistan.

He is survived by his fiancee Laura, father Eric Craig, and sister Kathleen.
